A three hour confidence building review session before administering the EPA section 608 Exam. It is strongly recommended
that participants download the Section 608 Preparatory Manual to read and study the material carefully before challenging the EPA exam.

and their function in the cycle. We also cover superheat and subcooling,
how they affect the operation of the system. Airflow factors that affect both indoor
and outdoor unit operation. We want your personnel to be able to understand

This course will cover basic skills needed during install.
Brazing: We will conduct a hands-on brazing seminar, where students will actually braze copper to copper joints.
We will teach proper copper cleaning, torch set up, flame temperature, and proper brazing techniques.
System Evacuation: We will teach proper leak checking, line set cleaning, and proper Triple Evacuation techniques.
System Charging:We will cover proper charging techniques for both heatpump and strait cooling systems with both expansion valves and piston type metering devices.
